Some great bargains this week. Most visits are met with friendly check outs, helping clerks in the store, and usually everything on sale is on the shelf.
I only give this three stars because the St. Marys Kroger is large with the ability to have large selections of items. We have shopped for many, many years at various Kroger stores around the Dayton area and moved to the area two years ago. I have never experienced such a poorly managed store. They are out of titems we want on a regular basis. Two weeks in a row no distilled water (really, there was a run on distilled water?) They are often out of items you take for granted they would have such as cucumbers, omeprazole, etc. Last JUNE they had no strawberries in the height of strawberry season. The list goes on an on. Never are we able to buy all the things on our list. It's so frustrating to have to go to another store so we have started shopping around.
Only notable gripe is the pricing. It's not outrageous, but it's not competitive enough to keep me from driving an additional ten minutes to Walmart when I have the time and need to a lot of food.
Surprisingly large selections. Well organized. Clean. Quality staff.
Just got groceries. Lot of empty shelves so going to have to make another trip. Overall quick check out, plenty of registers running.
Starbucks inside is great when you're in the mood for it too!
